Kooperationen

To a large extent I work in close cooperation with colleagues from my lab, but also different laboratories in the world to share expertise in solving problems, making errors, and learn. I would never be - where I am now - without these cooperations. The list below is intended to show some (not all!) topics we have been working on in the last years:

  • FLESH project, investigating the stability and flexibility of speech-gesture coordination and its role in language evolution: Aleksandra Ćwiek, Wim Pouw (Radboud University, Nijmegen), Šárka Kadavá
  • Salammbo project, investigating the effect of motion on breathing and speech production: Heather Weston, Hélène Serrè, Amélie Rochet-Capellan (GIPSA-lab Grenoble), Marion Dohen (GIPSA-lab Grenoble), Theres Weißgerber
  • PSIMS project, investigating iconicity in language: Aleksandra Ćwiek, Manfred Krifka, Cornelia Ebert (Uni Frankfurt/M), Bodo Winter (Uni Birmingham), Marcus Perlman (Uni Birmingham) and an exciting international network
  • ESR 5, COBRA project, investigating interactive alignment at the physiological level: Tom Offrede, Christine Mooshammer (HU Berlin)
  • ESR15, COBRA project, endowing robots with high-level conversational skills: Chinmaya Mishra (Furhat Robotics, Stockholm) and Gabriel Skantze (Furhat Robotics, Stockholm)
  • Laura Koenig (Adelphi University, New York): Investigating several topics, among them topics related to aerodynamics, breathing, loud speech
  • Caterina Petrone (LPL, Aix-en-Provence) and Jelena Krivokapic (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor): Investigating speech prosody and speech planning
  • Marzena Żygis: Investigating orofacial expressions and acoustics in whispered and normal speech
  • Ludger Paschen and Frank Seifart (both at ZAS): Investigating common phonetic and phonological phenomena using the DoReCo corpus
  • Aude Noiray (CNRS, Lyon) and Dzhuma Abakarova: Investigating coarticulation in language acquisition
